Define
Human resources.

the role of human resources? Define in detail.

Staffing: Involves the hiring process from posting a job to negotiating
a salary package

Development of workplace policies: to develop the verbiage of policies (add,
change, write, and communicate the policy)

Compensation and benefits administration: HR determines the compensation and benefits an
employee receives for her/his work and make sure it´s comparable with what
similar with what similar jobs are being paid (health benefits, bonuses, pay,
vacations, etc.)

Retention: Its concerned with keeping and motivating employees for them
to stay in the company

Training and development: To make sure that the employees are trained to do
the job but also continue to grow and develop skills.

Dealing with laws affecting employment: To deal with the laws that affect the workplace
like discrimination, worker safety laws, health-care requirements, etc.

Worker protection: Be aware of worker protection requirements and ensure the workplace
is up to the standards (chemical hazards, heating and ventilation, etc.)

Communication: good communication and management skills.

Awareness of external factors: consider the outside forces that the company has
no direct control over (globalization, technology, health-care costs, layoffs,
etc.)

It is necessary, they make an organizations
capital work for them. And they are concerned with employees, since they recruit
them to their compensations, training, to ensure their rights and their
position in the company.

Define
Human resource management.
It’s the process of employing people, training
them, developing policies relating to them and developing strategies to retain
them.
What
are the main responsibilities of a Human Resource Manager? Define
them in
detail.
Staffing:
- Development of a staffing plan. This plan
allows HRM to see how many people they should hire based on revenue
expectations.
- Development of policies to encourage
multiculturalism at work. Multiculturalism in the workplace is
becoming more and more important, as we have many more people from a
variety of backgrounds in the workforce.
- Recruitment. This involves finding people to fill the
open positions.
- Selection. In this stage, people will be interviewed
and selected, and a proper compensation package will be negotiated. This
step is followed by training, retention, and motivation

I think that being aware of outside forces that
may affect the company is the most difficult, because you have to deal with a
unknown force that you don’t have control of. And these forces can impact
negatively your job as a human resource manager.
